Tulips in the Rain – Photoset

Today I dropped by the historic Beechwood Cemetery on my way home from school. The cemetery has beautiful gardens, and at this time of the year, hundreds if not thousands of tulips are starting to bloom. I focused my camera on two garden beds by the beautiful red pagoda in the Asian section of the cemetery. It was raining, so I tried to capture the raindrops.
I brightened the colours of each photo in Photoshop, as it was a cloudy day. I think they turned out really well, and I can’t wait for more flowers to bloom! I’ll be taking more photos of tulips during Ottawa’s, Tulip Festival, so stay tuned for that post.
I really love the way I captured the raindrops on the tulip leaves.
I like the way the tulips are in a sort-of diagonal line.
Beautiful pictures!!
Beautiful! So glad I stopped by!
These are great Jasmine! Overcast skies really are ideal for shooting flowers to get those deeply saturated colours. You make the raindrops look lovely, even if I kinda wish they’d go away now! 🙂
